What does DAMA mean?
Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) is a formal agreement between the Australian Government and a regional, state or territory authority. It provides access to more overseas workers than the standard skilled migration program.
What are the main advantages of a DAMA?
1. Access to occupations that are not in the MLTSSL or STSOL
2. Pathway to permanent residency for most of the occupations in the DAMA
3. English language concession for certain occupations
4. Age concession at the PR stage for certain occupations
5. Salary concession for employers
