As announced widely,

Saturday 16 November represents a new stepping stone for Australian Immigration.

Changes to a number of visa programs, such as the skilled visas 189, 190, 489 and the abolishment of the 489 and 187 (regional) visas replaced by the 491 and the 494 visa respectively, start today.
